Position :	Groundsman-Driver-Operator
Purpose:	These positions provide support services for the tree crews via cleanup, truck moving / hauling, stump grinding, log loading, etc.
Qualifications:	Ability to work well with the tree climbers and crew leaders along with any specialized skills and/or equipment knowledge required by law. Valid stare of Illinois C.D.L drivers license with a good driving record
Accountability:	Foreman and/or Crew Leader
Responsibilities:	Start of work day at the yard: Perform a maintenance check on truck. chipper, stumper etc.(fluid levels, grease fittings, tires cab, etc) and then warm up the equipment. Make sure there is sufficient chainsaw gas and oil. Load any specialized equipment needs for the day's job(s). Consult with crew leader to make certain all equipment / supplies required for that day's job(s) are loaded and ready. On the job site: Help load / unload equipment necessary for job. Gas and oil chainsaws for use by crew. Stay prepared to act on work requests by crew Leader. Keep track of all equipment needed by Climbers and respond quickly to the needs of any Climber. It is your responsibility to keep work areas as clean as possible. Continuously remove all fallen/felled brush and haul to most convenient and safe place to chip. Report any accidents that may occur on the job with the crew or equipment IMMEDIATELY to your Crew Leader
