Fungal Diseases on
Hawthorne Trees

Hawthorne trees get infected
with Rust. This disease causes spotted
leaves and premature leaf drop.
The yearly toll of dealing with this disease
kills banches and eventually the tree.
When a fugicide spray is used, you may
still see some evidence of the disease,
but are able to conrol twig death.
Choosing this service will greatly
prolong the life of your tree.

Oak Wilt Disease

Oak Wilt affects many species of oak
and is both debilitating and ultimately
deadly to the tree. It kills tens of
thousands of oaks annually.
Because pruning is a potential
means of spreading the disease,
we recommend having an inspection
by one of our arborists beforehand.
While there is no cure, suppression
of its spread is important to controlling
its affect on the greater ash tree
population on your property as well
as around the extended adjoining areas.
