Vice President-District Manager |
Purpose: |
To further company and personal goals primarily at the district level and secondarily from an over all standpoint. |
Accountability: |
Certified Arborist
Field exposure of at least two years to arboricultural techniques.
Actively develop new sales with both existing and new customers.
Develop marketing programs within district.
Supervise personnel assigned to district.
Supervise successful completion of jobs personally sold or assigned.
Administer corporate policies and procedures.
Maintain accounts receivable, supervise timely collection.
Develop and maintain district information reporting and control system.
Cooperate with other districts and corporate management to develop and maximize the benefits of a team effort.
Participate in budgeting and strategic planning at both district and corporate level.
Maintain quality control as to work performed, customers maintained and corporate image.
Actively promote and encourage employee development. |
Authority to Act: |
Hire qualified personnel to achieve necessary sales/production goals.
Discipline and/or terminate those unable to meet expectations. Recommend salary levels for personnel assigned to district.
The activities of personnel assigned to district or to jobs assigned.
Maintenance of equipment assigned to district using most expeditious resource.
To directly enter into contact up to $10,000 according to established estimating methods.
Purchase necessary equipment according to budget; unbudgeted purchases up to $500.00.
Commit to district overhead as per established budget. |
Standards of performance: |

Achievement of district sales goal.
Achievement of district direct /indirect expense budget.
Average hourly rates to meet establish norm.
Annual growth in private/commercial sales %
Bad debts and sales adjustments not to exceed 1% of Sales.
Accounts receivable to average less than 45 days collection.
Safety and training schedules to be met.
90% attendance at company functions, sales/ management meetings.
Develop at least one new program of general use or interest to entire Company.

Base salary.
